On 12 May REScEU and the Graduate School in Social, Economic and Political Sciences hosted Prof. Vivien Schmidt, from the University of Boston, for a Seminar on The Eurozone’s Legitimacy Crisis. After the seminar, Prof. Maurizio Ferrera and his team presented the project REScEU - Reconciling Economic and Social Europe - to Prof. Vivien Schmidt.

III REScEU team meeting was the occasion for Maurizio Ferrera to assess the progress of the Project, and for the Post Doc team members to present their research projects. The team also discussed the beta version of the website, and the developements made in the EU visions portal concept. Johannes Liem, a freelance web developer was invited to the meeting to give a presentation on his job as a web developer, to understand a possible cooperation on the Eu Visions website.
The IV team meeting was an occasion to discuss the advancements of our post-docs' research projects. Maurizio Ferrera, principal investigator of the project, presented his thoughts on the EU in a presentation with the title: "A Community Of Good Neighbours: What Normative Bases"
The second team meeting was a two days event featuring a presentation by Prof. Maurizio Ferrera on The neo-weberian framework: some fundamental concepts and a presentation by Prof. Battegazzorre, from Università degli Studi di Pavia, on General theories of politics and institutions: insights for the REScEU project. The team also participated to the two-days conference at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore on “Max Weber, Our Contemporary: 1864-2014”. The meeting was also an occasion for Furio Stamati and Josef Hien to present a first draft of their research project for REScEU, and for the EU Visions team to present the future of the Eu Visions observatory.
